What is Kavira’s mission?Kavira is different, and that’s why you’ll love us. We aim to make seeking care as easy as texting your friend or ordering an Uber. Our providers have a passion for innovation – creating care plans that work for you. That’s why we’re digital first, that’s why we provide care in patients’ living rooms, and that’s why we believe no one should ever pay a copay again.
Where can I get Kavira Care?Kavira’s Text-Based Care and Virtual Care plans are available to any individual living in Minnesota. Our House Visits + Virtual Care plan is currently only available in the Twin Cities Metro, but we can’t wait to serve folks across the entire U.S. as we continue to grow.
What does it mean to get “preferred pricing” on prescriptions and labs?Kavira has access to prescriptions and labs for significantly reduced prices – often for less than 10% of the price you would pay in a pharmacy or through the traditional healthcare system, and we pass these prices on to our members. For many members, the Kavira membership pays for itself simply through the savings our members see on their prescriptions. Curious about the price of a specific prescription or lab? Reach out to us!
Does Kavira accept insurance?Kavira does not currently accept any forms of insurance, and because of that, we're proud to say that you'll never have to pay a copay for any of our services.
How does prescription renewal and shipping work?Prescriptions are renewed virtually (via messaging or videochat) by your provider. Medications can then be delivered to your door in 2-3 days, or can be picked up at your local pharmacy.
